I don’t know how much time and trials I needed to finally have this… it’s not a reel or a video, it’s just a post with videos 📹 So if you don’t want to watch everything, here’s a short description 😉👍
I started my journey of ‘not buying anything new’ last year in February and over the past 12 months I only shopped preloved, vintage, thrifted. It was an awesome journey with a lot of ‘aha-moments’.
First, I decluttered my wardrobe and realised that I already own a lot of cool things. All the clothes/ jewellery/ scarves that I bought over the last year are an enhancement - I really love my closet now! It feels like a playground for dress-up!
I got to know myself, my body, my style - and I’m really proud that I didn’t buy any fast fashion!
I’m so much more aware of what I already have and what I need if I want to improve my closet. And even though I used my four green cards for buying new clothes, it definitely is possible without it.
This year I will focus on buying what I need, only preloved/ vintage or sustainable and I even started to do it with my son’s clothes. It’s a commitment that’s absolutely worth it!

I really love pink in all shades, and I was so incredibly happy when I found this amazing blouse @by.schuberta . It’s a really nice blush pink, silky, soft and the cut is amazing. The sleeves are awesome! And it’s - of course - preloved!
Same goes for my beautiful scarf - it’s a vintage Vera scarf from @rockabillyravenvintage , and it goes so well with the blouse and the jeans.
The jeans are from @marina.rinaldi , it’s such a comfy cut, and jewellery is secondhand from @by.schuberta as well.

Yesterday was the Vernissage @_striesow_ ‘through threads: between textile and art’, @_thegalleryofthings_ , and the artist @inesstriesow was so kind to let me wear one of her amazing art works 🌈❤️
It’s a black cardigan with intricate hand embroidered colourful snakes and tiny pearls, hours and hours of delicate, intense work, lots of pearls and many meters of yarn and most importantly the love for the art!
I was feeling like a cool queen in the cardigan and slip dress and enjoyed every minute of the wonderful, fun and artsy evening! ✨🍷

Here’s the April edition of my Conscious Closet Chronicles and I clearly had a lot of fun with colours, especially red, burgundy and blue ❤️💙🍷
As always, I wore a lot of colourful sneakers - some of them #preloved! - as they’re the most comfortable footwear for long days at work, and yes, I love boots, too!
Some days, I’m wearing dresses, all of them #secondhand, but usually I prefer pants for work. I especially love the red 1980’s Wrangler pants @rockabillyravenvintage , it’s so comfortable, and the blue striped one @marimekko .
