In September 2022, I embarked on an unforgettable journey with my good friend
@moha_msqr to Ingal, Niger Republic, to witness and document the legendary Cure Salée festival.
After more than 20 hours of travel—both in the air and on rugged roads—we finally arrived, ready to immerse ourselves in this centuries-old tradition of the Tuareg and Wodaabe people.
The adventure was intense. We camped in tents for four days, enduring some of the harshest weather on earth—scorching heat by day and chilling winds by night. But every moment was worth it. From the mesmerizing dances to the elaborate face paintings and cultural rituals, the Cure Salée festival was a true spectacle of resilience, beauty, and tradition.
