Jennifer Stone began her acting career at the age of six performing in musical theatre in Texas.
By nine, she was holding her own opposite Robert Duvall, Michael Caine, and Haley Joel Osment in New Line Cinema’s Secondhand Lions. Soon after, she balanced life between her family’s farm in Texas and auditioning in Los Angeles, landing guest roles and testing for series regulars on major network shows.
At thirteen, Jennifer booked her breakout role as Harper, the quirky best friend to Selena Gomez on Disney Channel’s two time Emmy-winning Wizards of Waverly Place for 106 episodes and two accompanying films. Following her Disney success, she showcased her range across genres—from the horror to romantic comedies.
In 2017, Jennifer took a hiatus from acting to earn her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, driven by her passion for helping others. Even while in nursing school, her creative drive continued, with her co-writing, producing, and starring in the independent feature The In-Between, inspired by her personal experience with Type 1 diabetes. Jennifer remains an active advocate for the diabetes community, partnering with organizations such as Beyond Type 1 and JDRF.
After graduating in 2019, Jennifer returned to Los Angeles ready to resume acting full time; but when the pandemic hit, she stepped into the emergency room, serving on the front lines throughout COVID-19. Now, as the world moves forward, Jennifer continues to balance ER shifts with her love of storytelling and performing
