things we don’t talk about EP is out now 🥹❤️ There were many many months in the past few years where I thought I’d never get here. But here we are!!! It’s a sad album, but I hope you know how much joy we got out of making it. @michaeldunaief and I were coming off of at least a year of losing our joy in music making. I was having panic attacks in writing sessions, my self critic was screaming at me at 120 dbs, and the pressure I’d put on myself was at an all time high. For almost that entire period, these feelings were all I could write about. I would sit down to write and all I wanted to do was get these feelings out of my body and into my notes. Despite all the sad words, working on this album brought the joy back. Whether we say it out loud or not, we feel alone, we feel lost, we feel apathetic, shameful, guilty, sad, self loathing, numb. It passes, but it’s really there when it’s there. I know this album won’t be for every moment, but I hope that in the hard moments it can do something for you. There once was an album that sat on a hard drive for so long that the files became severely corrupted. Only broken, tattered pieces of each song remained. For years it was thought that the album was lost, and hope of recovery was all but gone. By some miracle, engineers at TWDTA Corp. were able to recover those files, but only in part. In order to compete the album recovery process, the engineers ask that news of their important work be shared only with those invested in its completion. Send proof of pre-save to @twdta_corp , and you will be sent the entire album of partially recovered files for your listening pleasure. Work continues on the album recovery process, but is set to be complete Aug. 22nd. Please keep this confidential information private.
