Meet our #LÉVOFeatureFriday Kylee Owens, CMHC from TheraPeace Counseling in Lehi, Utah! Kylee specializes in working with teens and young adults navigating anxiety, self-doubt, and life transitions. Having spent over a decade working with teens, she brings a grounded, experienced presence and a strong ability to connect in a way that feels genuine and easy. She creates a space that’s relaxed and real, where clients can slow down, make sense of their emotions, and feel understood without judgment. When words are hard to find, she often incorporates creative, hands-on approaches to help clients express themselves in different ways. Kylee draws from EMDR, IFS (parts work), and CBT, while working from a systemic lens. Rather than trying to “fix” people, she helps clients understand how they’re showing up within their relationships and environments, and how those patterns can shift over time. When helpful, she also supports parents in better understanding and responding to their teen’s needs. She’s especially passionate about supporting those experiencing trauma and anxiety, helping clients build self-trust, reduce shame, and feel more connected to themselves. To schedule, contact TheraPeace Counseling at [email protected] or 801-855-6420 or visit therapeaceutah.com.

For Arden Smith, mental health care became deeply personal through watching his son struggle—and through seeing firsthand how rushed appointments, surface-level care, and lack of true connection can leave people suffering longer than they should. At LÉVO, we’re working to do things differently. We believe healing starts with listening. That’s why our providers take the time to truly understand the whole person, not just symptoms on a checklist. Through thorough assessments, thoughtful diagnosis, education, and collaborative treatment planning, our goal is not just temporary relief, but meaningful, lasting progress. At LÉVO, care is the culture. We want every patient to leave feeling heard, understood, taught, and supported with real tools and real hope for moving forward. Because people deserve more than a temporary “band-aid fix” that simply masks symptoms. They deserve care that looks deeper, identifies root causes, and creates a path toward lasting healing.

At LÉVO, we understand the quiet weight of carrying a mental health struggle that no one else can fully see. The exhaustion. The disconnection. The feeling that you’re trying to hold everything together while silently falling apart inside. That’s why, as Ben Harris shares in this video, we’re in the business of putting families back together. When one person is struggling, entire families feel the impact. And when someone finally feels heard, understood, educated, and properly supported, healing has the power to ripple outward into every relationship and every part of life. At LÉVO, our goal is never just symptom management. It’s helping people find lasting answers, meaningful progress, and hope again.

We’re honored to welcome Dr. Sherrie Smith, DNP, PMHNP-BC to LÉVO’s South Weber team! Dr. Smith brings a compassionate, deeply informed approach to mental health care shaped by years of experience in psychiatric departments, community mental health clinics, ACT teams, and grief support for those impacted by suicide loss. Her passion for psychiatry began early in her nursing career after witnessing how underserved individuals with mental illness often are. Recognizing their vulnerability, she committed herself to treating the whole person, not just a diagnosis, while helping patients navigate stigma with dignity and strength. Dr. Smith specializes in treating serious and persistent mental illness, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, ADHD, OCD, PTSD, insomnia, and more. She also has advanced training in ketamine, esketamine, TMS, and integrative psychiatric treatments. Her approach is holistic, mindfulness-based, and person-centered, combining thoughtful medication management, lifestyle interventions, education, and collaborative care. She works with children ages 6+ through adulthood and is especially passionate about helping patients feel understood, supported, and empowered in their healing journey. Outside the office, Dr. Smith enjoys spending time with her children and grandchildren, hiking, biking, camping, gardening, fishing, and traveling the world. We couldn’t feel more grateful to have Dr. Smith joining LÉVO, and we know the compassion and expertise she brings will make a meaningful impact in the lives of so many. Appointments with Sherrie are available now at our South Weber location.

At LÉVO, our providers are NOT therapists—and that’s intentional. We focus on comprehensive, holistic assessments, accurate diagnosis, testing, and responsible medication management. We deeply believe in the healing and growth that can take place in therapy. The best outcomes happen when care is collaborative, which is why we strongly support and encourage therapy alongside working with a LÉVO provider. Together, these approaches complement each other in powerful ways. If you’re unsure where to start, LÉVO is a great first step. Reach out through the link in our bio. We’re here to help guide you.
