A cute little Laurel update for the divas :) “The 2007 Miss Southern Diva Pageant” will be screening Nov 20th-23rd at @bfdqueerfilmfest in Bradford, England, and Jan 29th-Feb 7th at @reeloutygk in Kingston, Ontario! Got the news for both last week while I was in LA for @lightboxexpo so im glad I can formally announce it! Both events will release a more solid schedule soon detailing which exact days I’ll be screening and I’ll post about that when I find out :)

Balls <3 the other main character from my thesis film this past year! He was a fun one to animate! He embodies the voice of reason in a duo where the chaos drives the boat. He was voiced by the incomparable @mr.mpleasure who was so so fun to work with! balls probably underwent the most change in terms of design from start to finish. Sasha was so vivid in my mind but Balls required more precision seeing as he was meant to balance out her intensity. Threw in some old variations for funsies but ultimately I’m happy with where he ended up :)
