Today’s #fbf was the Love My Community Clean Up held last Saturday, organized by the Mayor’s Office and Friends of the Pico Union Library.
It was a wonderful turnout and show of support for the park and neighborhood that give us so much. Despite the challenges we want to show the world that when we are united positive change is possible.
Thank you to the volunteers, neighbors, and groups that came out we miss you and look forward to the summer concerts with you all!

El #fbf de hoy fue la Limpieza “Ama a mi Comunidad”, que se llevó a cabo el sábado pasado, organizada por la Alcaldía y Amigos de la Biblioteca Pico Union.
Fue una maravillosa participación y una muestra de apoyo al parque y al vecindario que tanto nos dan. A pesar de los desafíos, queremos demostrarle al mundo que, unidos, es posible lograr un cambio positivo.

We got the grant for an Outreach & Communications intern from the LA County Department of Arts & Culture for 2026!
This vital program supports the incoming generation of leaders and 200+ arts organizations across the region.
Applications open April 1 for undergraduates in community college and universities. Paid opportunity for 400 hours.
Much gratitude to all who make this program possible such as LA County Supervisor Hilda Solis who leads our district.
