My heart is broken. This is hard. It feels surreal, and I keep wanting to believe it’s some kind of bad joke. There are no words that can truly represent the kind of beauty Bradford was and continues to be. If you spent any time with him at all, then you know exactly what I’m talking about.
The way he commanded a room with his wit, charm, and romanticism was unparalleled. The way he could find meaning in every word and movement of people, nature, and art was profoundly inspiring. He cared. A lot. About everything and everyone. Sometimes too much for his own good.
He inspired me with his music and his surfing, as he did countless others. But most of all, Bradford inspired by being an incredible friend with a big, teddy-bear heart of gold.
I will miss you so much. I love you. You did so good, Bradford. You changed me and my world for the better. I’ll be forever grateful for the time we spent together and the memories I get to carry with me. I hope to share a wave with you again on the big point break in the sky.
