Hey all! This account is really quite neglected and we don't see that changing. If you are curious about GRC and our club, we have a Facebook group, a website, and a great trainer club member (Monster Dog Training) that you can follow to keep up with what is going on! So, for now, this account is going to sit here and the human who runs it is going to stop logging in. Go play with your dogs!

Excited to announce that I’ll be the official videographer for the GRC Trial! I’m looking forward to stepping into a new sport and learning about it. Videography has given me so many opportunities to learn more about other sports and get experience shooting them. Hope to see you there!

Willow/Milo GRC SR1 Test 😎 PASS These two crushed this! Willow trained so hard test and this was her first official time at a real trial and test… I could not have been more proud. Her handling, composure and steadiness through being nervous was impressive as hell and it showed. A doodle? Crushing his SR1 test? Hell yes 🔥 Thank you to our host/judge @monsterdogtraining and the amazing sport of @grcdogsports Video 🎥: @gus.and.mia

GRC Try It Days! Our GRC Try It day includes 3 elements of GRC Dog Sports: Social Responsibility skills, weight pull, and spring pole. For these events we meet in a park, engage in one hour of SR skills (loose leash, obedience, or liberty - we rotate), and one hour of the sports. If you have a dog who would love to try out their sporty side, this is a great class for you. SR Skills will cover sections of the GRC SR1 test needed to be passed in order to officially compete in the drive events. Skills like greetings, loose leash walking, down/waits, recalls, and liberty. We’ll have a few different size weight pull harnesses that should fit enough dogs for them to try. The fit may not be perfect, but it should work for trying it out! If the dogs do well pulling the harnesses we’ll add chains (weight) to see how they do! We’ll be rotating through everyone so there may be some down time, you’re welcome to leave your dog in the car or bring a place bed. There are some trees you can tether to as well while waiting your turn! During the spring pole session we’ll just be focusing on getting your dog to tug on the toy while attached to the spring pole setup and having FUN!! Teaching your dog the game of spring pole can really help burn off some serious mental and physical energy. We’ll talk through how to setup an at home version of spring pole as well if your dog loves the game you can keep playing! #monsterdogtraining #grcdogsports #grcweightpull #grcspringpole #fortcollinsdogs #coloradodogtraining #dogsofnoco #nocodogs #fortcollins #fortcollinscolorado #focosmallbusiness #fortcollinssmallbusiness #nocosmallbusiness

WE FINALLY GOT A SLATMILL!🤩🎉 Thank you to the amazing @smileydogtrainingandrehab for letting us buy it off you! Buying a second hand slat mill allowed us to get our hands on one so much more quickly than waiting till we had enough funds to buy a brand new one. We CANNOT wait to get started using this with our GRC club, our clients, foster and rescue groups, and our own dogs!!! For everyone who purchased gear from our slat mill fundraiser we can’t thank you enough! We’ll be switching the gear sales from a slat mill fundraiser to a wall climb one, so if you still wanted to grab some gear and support our GRC club’s ambitions to be able to have all the equipment (and judges!!) to host all four drive events for official competitions here’s the link (also in the bio): /category/slat-mill-fundraiser **new breed merch coming in the next few months (cattle dog, husky, etc!) Easiest way to shop all of the designs is the use the “Filter By” button on the top right hand corner of the page. For the GRC Club fundraisers you can filter by: ✖️Slat Mill Fundraiser ✖️Bully Blue ✖️Bite Hard, Behave Responsibly ✖️Orange Border Collie ✖️Play Hard, Behave Responsibly And more!!! As a thank you to the community we’re also going to host a free “Run Night” on Saturday 3/29 at 4p at the facility in Fort Collins! It’ll be limited to 10 spots and run similarly to how Bite Nights are run. Only one dog in the facility at a time, humans are welcome to hang out and watch/learn, but we’ll take turns with each team! Depending on where your dog is at we’ll do slat mill introductions, let em sprint if they’re ready, teach you about GRC’s mill races, etc! Link to register (also in bio): /  Once signed in click: Book Now > New Group Class Reservation > Add Your Dog > Pick “Free Run Night” on 3/29 at 4p! #monsterdogtraining #monsterdogtrainingcolorado #grcdogsports #dogsrunning #caninefitness #firepaw #levelupcolorado #grcmillrace #slatmilltraining #runfastbehaveresponsibly
