Trying to figure out what you did wrong is a major indicator of being coachable! @josiahteasleyy is going to be a dog in the future because of that trait alone.
Nephew @therealdirtykeem caught him slipping. Iron sharpens iron. He got him back the next play. Can't wait to see how these two develop.
Simple tip - Always see the man and the ball. Keep your pad level down vs press.

My rookie year, Coach Jim Hostler told us, “I’ll do whatever I can to help you succeed, but the moment I care more than you do, I’m out.”
He met with me every morning to make sure I was good. I showed up every single time, and he never missed.
Your coach, parent, teacher, mentor etc.....their time matters.
People aren’t going to hold your hand forever. At some point, you have to take control. If you don’t, you’ll either fail or get passed by.
You show love and respect for the people pouring into you by showing up and going hard at whatever you do.
It’s not hard.
