From private dining to a space of its own—
@mireiadining enters a new chapter at Jupiter St ✨
Helmed by self-taught chef Mark Dee (
@chefmarkdee ), Mireia began in 2023 as an intimate dining experience hosted in his family home, where guests were served tasting menus crafted from personal memories and nostalgic flavours. Named after his daughter, the concept has since grown into a full-fledged restaurant perched on the top floor of the Levanto Building (
@levanto.ph ) in Makati—marking the first of several F&B concepts set to open within the space.
While Dee may be self-taught, he’s long been surrounded by food—from his family’s catering background to his own pandemic-era pivot into cooking. What started as a passion project quickly found its footing, eventually evolving into one of the more compelling private dining experiences in the city.
Today, Mireia carries that same spirit forward, this time through an à la carte format designed for repeat visits. The menu features Mireia favourites, including the scallop tartelette with sweet corn purée and caviar, alongside refined updates like the crab and tomato pasta with yuzu kosho and soft shell crab. New additions, such as unagi bites over crispy rice, offer glimpses into Dee’s personal references and evolving style.
With its new home—complete with two private rooms for more intimate gatherings—Mireia is no longer confined to a living room, but it hasn’t lost its sense of intimacy. Instead, it opens the door to something more exciting altogether: a restaurant that grows alongside its chef, one plate at a time.
