You’ve probably walked past us before…and yes, maybe some of you prefer to eat at places you’re familiar with. We get it. But if you ever decide to slow down, you might come to love and realise we’re worth stopping for. Why not give us a try and see for yourself?

[ Wokin ] @letswokin is what you get when a Zi Char operator decides to square off against a western stall. Local flavours repackaged. A playbook that’s used and abused. What’s different here though, is the complete reluctance to conform to a balanced, restrained and dare I say cultured interpretation of it. Take for instance the Chilli Crab Pasta which is doused in sauce and served with Bak Choy or their Coffee Pork Burger which aggressively feature a pork cutlet drench in the signature sauce sandwiched between two buns. The Zi Char operator in them reads loud and proud. The execution here is less precise. It reads closer to a nice run of the mill “western stall” than anything too refined. The proposition definitely lies with their bolder representation of flavours, portioning ( which is ridiculous ) and approachable price point. Overall a fun one and might worth checking out if you find yourself lost in Punggol.
