Let’s take it back — to our ROOTS. Back to the spaces that feel like home, led by music, movement & community🌱 We got to host at one of our spiritual homes — the BBE store. A place we’ve been dreaming of bringing the vibe to, and even on short notice (and a school night), you all pulled up with warmth, energy, and realness. Filling bodies in a space, that’s the Let’s Vibe spirit right deya! In Dante’s words: “just show face man”. As life gets continues to keep moving (and hold back for no one), and catchups feel fewer, being in a room with familiar (+new✨) faces, fresh energy, and that shared feeling of belonging? That hit deep. It reminded us of what we’ve been missing — and clearly we weren’t the only ones feeling that way. From start to finish, the energy just kept risingggg. Big love to the selectas — Bussa, Lwanga, Excelsior, JTAI & Eshe — who gave us the sonics to let loose, feel free, and forget it was even a Wednesday. Markss even went missing in a DMC — too lost in the vibes to close the night😂😂  But on a real — when was the last time you let yourself get lost in the moment? Not to tick a box, not for obligation. Just to feel joy, freedom and connection? These spaces remind us to pause and return to what truly grounds us. By the end of the night, we weren’t just vibing — we were rooted. Together. For the 27th episode of Let’s Vibe! Radio, we’re joined by the incredible @errolmckellar1 MBE - prostate cancer survivor and founder of the Errol McKellar foundation 🫂 In the run up towards @joshuajtai ’s London Marathon debut, we wanted to dedicate this episode to the cause he is fundraising for. Errol tells us about his prostate cancer diagnosis, the work he does with his foundation,and information about the disease and its disproportionate occurrence in African and Caribbean men. Dedicated to spreading awareness and increasing accessibility to testing, all donations to the Errol McKellar foundation contribute towards saving lives. as we wrap up 2025, we’re intrigued to know what notable song(s) had you captivated or in deep reflection this year? well, on saturday we’ll be running our last event of the year - Pass the Aux, where we invite you to share a track or two and why they stood out for you. As December goes, there’s always a lot of noise, stress and weird feelings that surface. We wanted to put on this event before the end of the year to collectively come together, restore peace, balance and good vibrations in a comforting space. It feels like something that a lot of us need right now, and luckily there are still a few tickets left for you to join! With it being a short event, we want to make the most of it, so please come early so that we can all settle in and enjoy with minimal disruption once we kick off the main event at 7:15pm. Yes homies! we can’t believe it’s December already...sheeeiittt Before rounding off this calendar year, we wanted to link up one last time for something a little more laid-back, where we’re able to chill, talk, unwind and reflect more with you. The Idea: a listening party, where everyone has the chance to share some music that they’ve been rocking. Think of it as Put Me On That Still (PMOTS) IRL. For those who are unfamiliar of PMOTS - this was a weekly series we used to do on our IG where we’d collate music shared with us from the community, and highlight a few of our favourite tracks. This event is an open space for sharing, listening, unwinding and reflecting. We invite you to share and/or experience what other members of the community have been listening to. This is a collective space, so all you need to do is come with openness, and a vinyl if you please, and it shall be a good time! peep the 2nd photo for the vibes at shai space last year. We’re so excited to be returning to the BBE Store for another ROOTS – taking us back to where we feel most at home, guided by music and community 🫂 This time we welcome some new homies to the line-up alongside familiar faces.
