What was supposed to be a quick tour stop in their Baltimore hometown ended up expanding to The Let’s Share Conference hosted at Morgan State University. @self.ishbeauty owners @janeenadore , @kellslovesit and @keishanichole could have simply shared their friend & Mielle Organics Founder Monique Rodriguez @exquisitemo book announcement on their social media channels or purchased a few copies to give away. “However, we don’t do anything mediocre,” Janeen said during the event.
My event recap also captured just a fraction of the powerhouse women from diverse industries like that took to the @letsshareco stage to also share “The Glory In Their Stories”. One moment that probably received 1,913 of its’ views thanks to me was hearing Baltimore’s First Lady Hana Scott @hanalulu12 talk about what Black women are constantly task to do and be seen in some spaces!
