Want to hit the trails? Join us at Hashawha at 8am with our friends from Altra Running. We’ll have demo pairs of some of their latest trail models ready to hit the dirt. Muddy them up and hand them back.
Looking for something more casual? The Moore the Merrier crew will be heading out from Wakefield Valley at 9am for a relaxed run/walk around the cart path. Meet @doug2013run and the gang and come spend some time with our awesome community.
Whether you run, walk, race or just want to get moving, we’d love to see you out there.

We’ve got a big week here in Westminster!
Tomorrow is Westminster Wednesdays. Run Moore and many other local shops will be open until 8pm. Come downtown, shop local, grab dinner, and enjoy it.
Then Saturday is the Flower & Jazz Festival. This is the big one. Always one of the best days in downtown Westminster.
It’s the day before Mother’s Day, so it’s a perfect chance to grab a gift. There will be vendors everywhere with flowers, crafts, food, and live music throughout the day. And the weather looks great.
Make a plan to come down this week. Tomorrow, Saturday, or both.

This morning I had the honor of receiving the Phi Beta Kappa Lifelong Learner Award at McDaniel College. Thank you to Professor Jessica Ford for the nomination and for the kind words about me and the store.
I’m really proud of what we’ve built and continue to build at Run Moore. I had a chance to say a few words and talked about how, in running, there’s never really a finish line. You don’t master it. You just keep showing up and finding ways to get better over time. That’s the same approach we try to bring to the store each day.
I appreciate the recognition and everyone who has been a part of the journey along the way.

Last night’s pub run was a reminder of how lucky we are. Beautiful weather, great turnout, and even better people. Thanks to everyone who came out.

After the runs, downtown Westminster hosts the annual Wine Stroll.
Please note: due to potential weather later in the day, Wine Stroll hours have been adjusted and will now run from 10:30 AM–2:30 PM.
Run Moore will also be open from 10 AM–4 PM.

Big week coming up at Run Moore!
We’ve got a group run from the store on Thursday at 6pm, a group trail run at Hashawha on Saturday at 8am, and then the Westminster Wine Stroll from 12–4.
The Wine Stroll is one of Westminster’s signature events with vendors, music, food, merriment, and a great chance to enjoy everything downtown has to offer.
Make a plan to get out of the house, move a little, rub elbows with your community, and enjoy a great day in Westminster.
