13 juni: the Phantom Four + DJ Müter, Bone & Marquee, poster by @itsevz 💥 Since their formation in 2004, Amsterdam-based band the Phantom Four have become one of the world’s most iconic instrumental groups. The band creates A danceable and sometimes dark sound that combines surf guitars with music genres from all over the world. The band has released multiple studio albums and singles and has collaborated live and in the studio with vocalists like rudeboy (urban dance squad) and has played notable festivals like lowlands, vive latino, paaspop, surfer joe, sjock, surf-o-rama and wild ‘o’ fest. The band has toured extensively through Europe, usa and Mexico. Over the years, the sound of the phantom four has evolved to danceable instrumental music with a dark edge. Phantom frank’s original arrangements bring together a wide array of styles, from psychedelic cumbia, afrobeat and middle-eastern folk music to classical, rock and electronic. Also this eve one of our house DJ’s @letsgobone will celebrate their bday! 🎂🎂

Saturday, May 16th from@15 :00-20:00 @nicholas_groente_and_fruit A little background of there two Talented Artists goes like this: Markant is a Düsseldorf based Streetartist, transforming the cities streets since 2020 with bold, expressive work. A recurring motive is Woodstock, often reimagined & paired with other figures. Central to his work is a distinctive layered sticker technique - precisely cut vinyl elements are assembled piece by piece into multidimensional compositions. While grounded in the street Markant’s work has been presented in group & solo exhibitions. Fuxundschalter I am Fuxundschalter - in English (as in all other languages) the artist name is difficult to translate, but the name still describes what I am. I am the tape artist Fuxundschalter! I create geometric-abstract works of art from adhesive tape, usually centred around a fox and a light switch that comment on their environment or current historical processes. I have been working with tape for ten years now - this art movement of street and urban art fascinates me anew every day. Tape art is an artistic interplay of geometry and boundless imagination, of illusion and reality, of chanson and pop and of meticulous craftsmanship and deep passion. In this world, I am constantly creating new figures, caricatures and geometric landscapes.
