These students in Ireland are taking action for the planet by building an ARK â a little patch of wild nature where biodiversity can thrive again! đżâš
An ARK (Act of Restorative Kindness) is a rewilded space where native plants grow freely, helping ecosystems recover. Behind their school they turned an unused plot into a sanctuary for wildlife â proof that small actions can make a big impact! đđ
To learn more about how to build your own ARK, watch Wild Hopeâs episode Gardener to Guardian, now streaming on @pbsnature and wildhope.tv!

Pollinators are often the gateway drug to conservation for gardeners. But ecosystems are circular systems - not points of focus. We have to support nature to mend her broken systems and re-weave the web of life back together by restoring native plant communities as much as we can in every patch we can. This starts with our gardens if we are lucky enough to have one. If you want to save the planet, start with your own patch of it. đ donât wait for somebody else to fix it.
This week we sit down with the ethereal powerhouse that is Mary Reynolds @wildmarymary .
Maryâs passion for Nature and land restoration along with a new search for meaning through landscape tending and appreciation has been having an indelible effect across the country and world. It was a privilege to sit down with her and we hope you are moved by her message to have a renewed appreciation of the life we are all surrounded by.
