Building a circle as a returnee doesn’t happen overnight. It’s in the small decisions, showing up, saying yes, trying again even when it feels unfamiliar. If you’re navigating this season, give yourself grace, you’re not behind, you’re just building slowly and intentionally. If you’re looking for your people, we’re building that here together. Sometimes, the hardest part of starting over isn’t the move itself, it’s the quiet moments in between. The confusion, the excitement, the fear and the hope that comes with uprooting your life and beginning again in a place that feels familiar
yet different. Let’s Brunch Lagos was born from that in-between space. From the loneliness I felt when I relocated. From wishing there was a room filled with women who understood the ache and the beauty of coming back home after building a life elsewhere. From wanting a soft landing, a sense of belonging and a community that made Lagos feel a little less chaotic and a lot more kind. This brand is my love letter to every woman who has moved back, is thinking of moving back or is still gathering the courage to take the leap. You are not alone, not here. At our table, Your story matters. Your transition matters. If you know someone who is relocating or planning to, share this with her. If you’re on this journey yourself, comment below where you’re moving from, we’d love to know your story. And if you’re looking for a community that understands this chapter of your life, join our growing WhatsApp community through the link in our bio.

💕💕Let’s Brunch, Lagos isn’t just another “japa-da” brand. We are an international community of women navigating return, relocation, and re-rooting. We create thoughtful spaces for connection, honest conversations, and meaningful beginnings, not just for a day, but for the life being built after it. This is brunch with intention. This is community, built with love, where stories unfold and people connect far beyond the table

Not every room deserves your energy. Some spaces make you edit yourself just to fit in. Others meet you exactly where you are, no performance, no proving yourself, just ease. That’s what we’re building with Let’s Brunch Lagos. Curated gatherings for women who want real connection in a city that can feel like a lot. #LetsBrunchLagos #LBLCommunity

One thing is now obvious: in recent times, the desire for real connection has grown stronger. đŸ«‚đŸ«‚đŸ’•đŸ’• We were never just looking for places. We were looking for people. For something genuine. Because beyond the brunches, the aesthetics, and the “outside”
what truly stays with us is connection. And it’s okay to crave something real. There’s a rise of something pure happening, and it’s reshaping how and why we do what we do at Let’s Brunch Lagos, because at our core, it has always been about people. If you feel this shift too, click the link in our bio to join the community.

We’re not falling for the “do it alone” agenda anymore 😭😂 Who said navigating life, moving back, or starting fresh has to be lonely? Soft life includes community, genuine friendships, shared laughter, and women who truly get it. No more isolating yourself, no more waiting for life to magically happen. We’re choosing connection, showing up, and making the most of where we are now. 💛

Sometimes the only thing holding you back is a yes
and maybe small anxiety. 😂 Yes to new connections. Yes to community. Yes to meaningful relationships. Yes to leaving the house for once. At Let’s Brunch Lagos, strangers walk in acting shy, then leave planning birthday trips together. đŸ„‚đŸ˜‚ So stop saying “I need to make more friends” while ignoring invites. Come and let us do the matchmaking (friendship edition). Click the link in our bio and join us 💛

The importance of community cannot be overemphasized. Community is not just a gathering of people, it is connection, support, and belonging, especially when you are navigating a new environment. On Saturday, we brought women together from our Community for a Pilates & Brunch morning . On the surface, it may have looked like just Pilates and brunch, but it was so much more than that. It was a group of women coming together to laugh, connect, share stories, and dine together in a safe and welcoming space. Because at the end of the day, this remains our core at Let’s Brunch Lagos: building meaningful experiences for women, creating spaces for connection, and reminding every woman that she does not have to do life alone. 💛

Moving to Nigeria wasn’t the mistake. 🇳🇬 The real struggle is trying to recreate your life abroad in a place that runs on different rhythms, systems, and realities. You’re not wrong for feeling the shift, you’re just in the adjustment phase where familiarity meets a new way of living. The goal isn’t to force Nigeria to feel like “back there,” but to learn how life here actually works, and build from here.

If you’re moving back to Nigeria, make sure you check these things off your list first. 🇳🇬 Returning home living abroad can be exciting but adjusting takes more than booking a flight. The truth is, many returnees underestimate how important community is during this transition. Having the right people to ask can save you time, money, stress, and unnecessary mistakes. If you’re navigating your move back and looking for connection, conversation, and support, Let’s Brunch Lagos is here for you.
