It didn’t take long for Txipeva’s father to figure out their plot. Eyes are everywhere, and word travels fast.
With his poisonous darts, their death was inevitable. Swift but painful, the worst dichotomy Ted could have ever imagined for his mate.
And now he was left without a clan. Back to the RDA? He was outcast there too. No one knows what happened to the Dreamwalker, but the Kame’tire children missed him when they were told he was never permitted to return. But the storytellers sing songs of a lone, five fingered creature that roams the lands, a doomed wanderer. The ending is always left unresolved: does he find another companion? Does he attain his goal for vengeance?
One thing is sure. His song chord remains unfinished, and the last bead still remains to be strung. And while he breathes, there will always be hope.

Ted is swift to learn under the tutelage of Txipeva. He learned their name early on, as well as the reason he was targeted. They were parentless; well, not completely. But their herbalist father, who was well-respected amongst the Kame’tire, had left them and their mother to die in the forest, ashamed of a “half-breed” Na’vi. They grew up separate from gender normalcy, and developed their own spirit and their own matter of living. Estranged, they sought a way back into the clan to confront their father, and Ted doesn’t say it, but the fire in their eyes tells him everything he needs to know about their intentions to kill.
Luckily for him, Txipeva is equally willing to learn English and mess with whatever technology is left on him. They’ve striken up a proper friendship, surprisingly. Outsider to outsider, they see each other with fresh eyes.
Txipeva still thinks Ted is an idiot, though.
