Over my career, I’ve had the pleasure of meeting and interviewing some cool people. Along the way, I started collecting autographs… for a reason.

We are so grateful to have been awarded with $14,600 from the Community Foundation to purchase a new commercial steamer in the LSCO Diner. This will allow us to make more food for Meals on Wheels participants and attendees, while preserving nutritional value.

Update on our Rent Pause Request:
Yesterday, our Executive Director, Kaitlynn Weaver, presented to the Community Initiatives Committee. Thanks to your support, the Committee voted to refer our rent pause request to the June 10 & 11 City Budget Deliberations.
We aren't just a building; we are "fall prevention" for the community. With 49,000+ visits last year, LSCO is essential to Lethbridge.

On Saturday we held our very first "Made With Love - Handmade Market" and it was a huge success with over 150 people coming through the doors!

Well now that volunteer appreciation week is done, we want to highlight the two staff that made it happen! Our superstar volunteer team, Madison and Isa work hard every single day to make sure our volunteer program runs smoothly and we couldn't do it without them!
Wow! What a night at our Volunteer Appreciation event at the LSCO. Almost 100 of our volunteers came to celebrate with good food, good music from the @rebe.langels , and good company. Even our staff got into it!!

Lethbridge, we need your help! Join us on Thursday, April 30 at 1:30 p.m. as we make our case to Lethbridge City Council for a temporary rent pause.
After seven consecutive deficits, our organization is at risk. A rent pause would give us the breathing room to strengthen our reserves using unrestricted donations and revenue, so we can continue delivering programs that reduce isolation, support healthy aging, and provide seniors with a place to feel connected, safe, and valued.
As attendance and momentum grow, this pause would help us keep improving our organization and sustain these important services for the community!
