I remember when Olympia reached out to me two years ago to produce a record for her. We were talking all the way from Dallas to London, and now seeing that same record hit half a million streams and connect with so many while we’re on different sides of the world is proof that good music always bridges the gap.
It’s been incredible watching her career flourish and seeing everything she’s accomplished since then. I’m truly grateful and thankful to have been part of this record.

This was one of the first records I fully produced and engineered an independent project I backed with my own money, under my brand. No major label. No big team. Just vision and intention.
We originally recorded in a studio, but I didn’t like how compressed it sounded. So I made a call to track Mandolin’s vocals in my parents’ guest bathroom. I wanted the vocals to feel raw because the lyrics were so honest.
Mandolin and I drove to Austin last minute for the video shoot, stayed on set for three days, then drove all the way back to Dallas at 2 a.m. on the last day just to make it back in time for work that same morning.
Seeing this record hit over 100K streams and land sync placements in commercials, ads and etc. hits different when you know the sacrifices and work that went on behind the scenes. It’s proof that quality always cuts through the noise.
As a Black artist and creator, this means so much to me. Waking up to see my song featured in an incredible movie about Black love, crafted by Black creators, feels like a full-circle moment. I remember putting my own money into this track because I knew it was something special when we made it. That same year, we made our first editorial Spotify playlist and signed a sync deal, which led us here. I’m thankful and excited to witness Black art shine once again.
