Dalle opere in vetro alla ceramica, dal design all’illuminazione fino alle sculture al neon e alla ricerca sulle energie alternative, Vianello ha attraversato linguaggi e materiali con uno sguardo sempre innovativo.

❤️🩹 Ci ha lasciati Bruno Bischofberger, leggendario gallerista svizzero che ha segnato profondamente la storia dell’arte contemporanea, costruendo relazioni decisive con artisti come Andy Warhol e Jean-Michel Basquiat.
📷 Lo ricordiamo attraverso alcuni scatti della mostra organizzata insieme dedicata al vetro finlandese a @lestanzedelvetro nel 2015: immagini che restituiscono il suo modo unico di vivere l’arte e il collezionismo.

❤️🩹In memory of Bruno Bischofberger - the legendary Swiss gallerist who profoundly shaped the history of contemporary art, building pivotal relationships with artists such as Andy Warhol and Jean-Michel Basquiat.
📷 We remember him through a selection of photographs from the exhibition we organised together, dedicated to glass from Finland at LE STANZE DEL VETRO in 2015: images that capture his unique way of experiencing art and collecting.

At the Glass Study Centre - the most important archive of 20th-century Venetian glass - over 200,000 documents and a specialized library with more than 2,300 titles preserve the legacy of modern and contemporary glass art.

Un racconto per saggi critici, documenti e immagini del vetro muranese alla Biennale di Venezia negli anni del boom economico.
Il catalogo, curato da Marino Barovier, illustra le opere esposte dalle vetrerie muranesi nelle edizioni della Biennale di Venezia dal 1948 al 1958. Nato da un’iniziativa congiunta di Fondazione Giorgio Cini e Pentagram Stiftung, con la partecipazione dell’Istituto di Storia dell’Arte e del Centro Studi del Vetro, il volume documenta la mostra allestita presso Le Stanze del Vetro (Isola di San Giorgio Maggiore) in occasione della 61a edizione della Biennale di Venezia, per presentare l’evoluzione dell’arte vetraria di Murano durante un decennio estremamente significativo per la sua storia.

An account through critical essays, documents, and images of Murano glass at the Venice Biennale during the economic boom years
The catalogue, edited by Marino Barovier, illustrates the works exhibited by Murano glassworks in the Venice Biennale editions from 1948 to 1958. Born from a joint initiative of the Fondazione Giorgio Cini and Pentagram Stiftung, with the participation of the Institute of Art History and the Glass Study Centre, the volume documents the exhibition held at Le Stanze del Vetro (Island of San Giorgio Maggiore) on the occasion of the 61st Venice Biennale, this contribute presents the evolution of Murano glassmaking during a decade of extraordinary significance for its history.
