Lesser Minds - January 2026
And so ends a lovely chapter of my life. Last night was a wonderful cathartic moment that I was lucky enough have been able to receive. Since we started LM, I’ve gotten the opportunity to forge relationships with people who will go on to be lifelong friends and it was really heartwarming to see so many of those people all in one room. Thank you to everyone who came out on a freezing cold night with a blizzard looming.
Thank you of course to the Bonfanti fam for hosting us. What you’re doing for your community by providing a safe space is truly incredible.
Fun fact: I had selected all the bands that played yesterday and it just so happened I was listening to their new releases that week, so thank you to Hard 2 Kill, Sunnyboyy, and Spiritkiller for being a part of our end. Truly incredible musicians all around. Everyone played great and it brought me a ton of joy that everyone said yes so quickly.
Finally, I’d like to say thank you and I love you to my band mates. You are among my very best of friends. It was an honor to create and sweat it out alongside you.
As I said last night, everyone who has ever been a part of this band was there because they shared our values. We are anti-racist. We are anti-fascist. We are an ally to the LGBTQ community. We don’t leave those values on stage. We practice them in our everyday life. That’s who we are. That’s what this band was all about.
We are in these bands/projects now. They also share the same values.

Last night, we met up for rehearsal for the final time. Bittersweet to say to say the least. I think we all feel grateful that we get to go out on our own terms, which for us includes “one more new song”. For as long as I’ve known @mcgreevy.thomas we have always wanted to write and record a dub/reggae song, and thanks to the dynamics of LM, through some technical maneuvering, we were able to make that happen. Where that song ends up is for another announcement, but you can expect to hear what we wrote on Saturday when we play our final show @cheeks_diy in Forked River (dm for address).
Also, we are aware of the weather. For those concerned this show will be way done before 10pm. Snow not expected to seriously hit until the wee hours of Sunday morning. You’ll be fine.

Last night was great. So glad we got to play Orange County one last time. Thank you Holly and everyone on the Outsider team who makes this stuff possible. Thanks you to everyone at the Vet Center for giving the community a place to go and experience stuff like this. Thank you to all the bands and the to everyone who came out. We truly appreciate it.
