Just drove 6 hours and arrived in Ottawa! I’m here for work. I was last here working on a show 4 years ago which is so hard to believe! This time I have my car so I’m hoping to get more Ottawa experiences over the next month or so- but I will be jam packed for the next two weeks so perhaps not right away!
A birthday present! It came with a stand. Took me about 40 minutes all told, the pieces were a bit more complex than the other wooden fox I have but there was a guide on the frame you fit it into so the complexity was somewhat negated!

I did not believe the box was real, but it did, in fact, contain a GAMECUBE!
Hudson and Cosmo make me feel younger every day 🥰❤️ I am very lucky!
I am pretty sure that one of these edge pieces is somewhere in my house…. There’s also an extra piece that does not belong with this puzzle. Can’t expect much more from a garage sale pickup!

I got too squirrelly to post theatre photos that featured other people so these are some of my pre-pandemic shots.
Theatre has given me so much. As an actor, producer, stage manager, head of front of house or box office, I have learned and grown more than many people do in entire lifetimes. I wish theatre was more deeply valued in this country and that we all made a lot more money.
I might not have appeared on stage since the pandemic hit but I have not stopped being an actor. I’ve led a commercial, TV Show, and short film. I audition constantly. I take a class every year. I sing. I dance. I try. And theatre is really all about the trying- night after night we do our best and share it with someone and I think that’s pretty special. #worldtheatreday
In Vancouver, we:
Walked around Chinatown
Saw Science World
Learned and participated in many traditions, including learning that the Sister-In-Law (in this case that’s me!) is supposed to be mischievous!
Went to the aquarium, which had AXOLOTLS and Dragons!
Walked by the ocean a couple of times
Hugged some trees
Ate very well
Talked for a million hours
Spent time with family
Got eaten by a dragon
Poked some ocean creatures
Witnessed a beautiful union (photos to come)
Fell more in love every second of every day.
As Cosmo said: I want more family time.
