said goodbye to the best cat anyone could’ve ever asked for last week. zeus has been by my side (and literally on top of me as much as he could) for the last fifteen years. he witnessed so many highs and lows of my 20s and 30s and was one of the main constants in my life. i could always count on zeus for immediate cuddles, to greet me at the door when i came home, to join me on zoom calls or facetimes when he heard other folks’ voices. he was curious, he was friendly, he was loving….he was the absolute best.

what an absolute wild journey. the last 16weeks unlocked a new version of myself that I didn’t know existed. I am the strongest I’ve ever felt both physically and mentally: dialed, clear, and not afraid to do really hard things. I am beyond grateful that I did the work to get to meet her…she’s f*cking GREAT. 🙂↔️

the thank you’s are endless and 48hrs later I continue to get emotional about all of the messages I received that played in my ear during my race, leading up to my race, and afterwards, but I’d be remiss to not specifically shout out @amillionsunsablaze and @mlchristy29_ of @allheartallgrit and @trooperprince of @trooperfitness for guiding, supporting, and challenging me over the last 4mos, allowing me the space and grace to arrive to Sunday’s start line feeling prepared and most of all EXCITED to conquer this goal.
