The launch of Les Adore for The Harvard Crimson—the student newspaper of Harvard.
This beautifully written piece, shares a story on the inception of this network.
‘But Les Adore is much more than a fashion magazine. It’s a production network that creates content across diverse forms of media. For example, the collective intends to release multiple short films in early 2024.’
“Typically, low income individuals who are at institutions like Harvard, for instance, always don't have the opportunity or capacity to engage in creative acts because they need to focus more on what's going to make them money in the future” [ @aminasalahou ]
There are so many stories that want to be told that can't be — whether because they don't know the resources are there, or [they do and] they don't know how to access them” [ @alexis.lauricella ]
“Representation is incredibly important, especially in places where we decide what is beautiful and what’s not,” Benham said. In addition to including a variety of models, Les Adore also made the shooting experience itself empowering, from Benham’s perspective.” [ @zoelaell ]

Met Gala Color Analysis | A recurring thought while watching the carpet: the strongest looks understood color as more than decoration. Klein blue as declaration, ruby red as drama, metallic gold as spectacle. The kind of fashion that communicates before a silhouette is even fully understood.
What stood out most this year wasn’t just silhouette, but palette. The 2026 Met Gala felt like a deliberate study in saturation, symbolism, and contrast—proof that color, when used well, can be as narrative as the garment itself

THE MET GALA | Looks that could belong behind museum glass. This year’s theme explored the relationship between fashion and the body through art history, pairing clothing with works from the Met’s collection that span from prehistory to the present.
