I’m very glad to share this recording of three works by Giya Kancheli: Ex contrario, Middelheim, and Tsutisopeli.
Giya left us on 2 October 2019. It was a profound privilege to perform the world premiere of Middelheim for trio and orchestra with him in the audience. His music lives on and continues to nourish us, deeply and eternally.
