Today, as part of our ongoing emergency preparedness program, we conducted a comprehensive Mock Fire Drill designed to strengthen our team’s readiness in responding to fire related emergencies. The exercise featured a staged fire incident, alarm sirens, emergency evacuations, arrival of fire engines, and mock injuries created using special effects makeup to simulate real life emergency scenarios.
Conducted alongside Kenya Red Cross Society and our emergency response teams, the drill provided vital hands on training for our staff while reinforcing safety protocols, teamwork, communication, and rapid response during emergencies.
Our guests also had an opportunity to learn what to do and what not to do in the event of a fire outbreak, helping create greater awareness and confidence in emergency situations.
