The Magician’s Assistant 🎩🪄
One of my favorite things about Tim Burton & Beetlejuice is that even the background characters stands out. The story-telling thought character design, fashion and makeup are outstanding. You see the Magician’s Assistant sitting there, and you just know you want to serve effortless c*nty in the afterlife.
I also noticed I always animate my Beetlejuice paintings hahaha this one was pretty fun to do!

When I went through my first heartbreak, I watched The Devil Wears Prada four times back to back in a single day. Then I kept rewatching it for weeks, coming back to it whenever I needed a comforting movie. I think it has that hold on us because the story isn’t really about romance, it’s about Andrea discovering herself professionally while rebuilding herself personally. And honestly, that’s exactly what we need during those closure moments in life.
Anyway, sorry about the rant hahaha, I just genuinely believe this is one of the comfiest movies ever made. I haven’t seen the second one yet, have you? Was it everything you hoped it would be? NO SPOILERS PLS 😭

I come back to it every few years, and it always grows with me. Sometimes I revisit the “Where? Where is this love? I hear some words, but I can’t do anything with your easy words” scene, and it really shows how people’s actions, and the way they make you feel, matter so much more than their words.
