Happy Star Wars Day!!! 💫💫💫
I've been so busy 'Star Wars-ing' this weekend that I haven't had the time to prepare a fancy post!
So I'm reposting the video from my 10 year Star Wars anniversary in 2024 ❤️
I always try to be as real as possible so to be completely honest I'm absolutely exhausted and Diabetes never has a day off!
But I cannot let this day go by without commemorating it somehow. And I would be remiss if I didn't mention the impact Star Wars has had on my life.
From travelling the world, to meeting friends who have become family and even being the reason I met the love of my life, my beautiful husband @leonechap ❤️
It has also giving me some of the most joyous moments in my life by becoming the official Godmother to @r2ktofficial and being the surrogate Aunty/Tata to all of my beautiful St-ieces and St-ephews ❤️
Not to mention all of the incredible moments I've had on screen and being paid to basically have fun!
I'm so incredibly grateful to the universe and to Star Wars for changing my life in the most amazing way!
THANK THE MAKER!!! ❤️🙏🏾

Last night, me and my handsome husband ventured out into the snow and had the most beautiful evening ❤️
One of our many shared passions is the music of @hanszimmer so for Christmas Léon bought us tickets to go and see a string quartet play his music in the stunning Saint Blaise church in Vichy.
We've always loved the church, (Léon used to go there as a child and it was the second choice for our wedding after Saint Louis) but we were really not prepared for the sheer beauty and magnificence of the church solely lit by candlelight.
There was something so spiritual about being in such a sacred place in near darkness and complete silence save for the beautiful music being played. We were both moved deeply and cried like babies. Highlights were 'Now We Are Free' from 'Gladiator', 'No Time To Die' and of course 'Day One' from 'Interstellar' but when they played 'Circle of Life' as their finale I really lost it! 😭
They ended proper with a song during which people could take photos and videos. Doesn't really do it justice but thought I'd share. I tried to capture the stunning stained glass windows as well. Excuse the shoddy camera work!
On the way home we stopped at the newly refurbished @casino_vichy for a night cap and a much needed croque monsieur (I'm still recovering from the flu so I'm eating non-stop 🙈).
Then asked a lovely stranger to take a snowy photo of us at our bandstand (kiosque) where we took our wedding photos 💞

And thanks so much to @1001nuits.concerts for their magical performance. Go see them if you can and definitely visit Saint Blaise if you get the chance 🙏🏾

Timing and finances and Brexit and Diabetes and work issues and many other reasons meant our wedding(s) and honeymoon period haven't been perfect.
But when I saw this photo from @illusionstory where I can only describe my facial expression as 'smug', I realised that nothing else matters.
Yes I look smug. And yes I am smug.

I gave up on love. I told myself I was unlovable and that I would be alone for the rest of my life. And I believed it.
And then came you.
We have already achieved so much. And I know that you are the one.
