In celebration of the publication Emblematic Elusions IV: A Glimpse into Archivo Jotxs (

@afi.onl ), this open gathering brings together cultural practitioners to explore and revive Archivo Jotxs; a Mexico City–based research archive cataloguing over 700 films that trace the presence, distortion, and erasure of non-heterosexual, non-binary, and trans identities on screen.
The afternoon and evening unfold through film screenings, presentations, and conversation. The program is intentionally open structured; we welcome visitors to move between spaces, join discussions, grab a drink, watch films, browse publications.
Signed chapbooks from the Emblematic Elusions series will be available in both English & Spanish.
