The strengths of the project proposal lie in the urban qualities, the open spaces and the utilisation and continuation of the existing building. The three buildings form an ensemble in which the new building acts as a hinge both within the school grounds and to the neighbourhood. The outdoor spaces span the site like a network and enable appropriation and encounters. The interventions are appropriate and create a multi-layered, child-friendly atmosphere.
