The day I’ve worked so hard for finally came, and unfortunately it wasn’t the result we all wanted. This moment is one I’ve dreamed about for years, and to fall short of getting over the line and qualifying for the World Cup hurts deeply.
Every time I step out to represent my country, I carry that pride with me. I give everything I have—not just for myself, but for every single Jamaican who believes in me. And the hardest part right now is knowing that, this time, it just wasn’t enough.
I feel that disappointment not only for myself, but for all of you. I know how much this meant, how much you were hoping, cheering, and standing behind me. That support never goes unnoticed, and it’s what pushes me every single day.
I’m truly sorry that I couldn’t get us over the line. You deserve that moment of celebration, and I wanted nothing more than to give that to you.
More than anything, I just want to say thank you. Thank you to everyone who has supported me, believed in me, and stood by me through it all. It never goes unnoticed, and it means more than I can explain.
One thing I know for certain is that I have always worn my country’s colors with pride, and I’ve done that throughout all these years. Representing Jamaica is the greatest honor, and that will never change for me.
This one hurts deeply, but I remain forever grateful to represent this nation. Thank you for everything. 🇯🇲❤️
