For years, I wished I had more time- time to catch up with friends, do the things I love, give back more, and be present for those who matter.
I wished I had done better-on those sleepless nights when I mishandled a client's emotions, or when I overpromised and the outcome fell short.
But eventually, I got tired of wishing. I started doing. Spending more time with loved ones. Making space for what matters. Pushing myself to grow- personally and professionally.
In my work, the best way I can honor that commitment is by providing the highest value to those who trust me to protect, grow and transfer their wealth. That's why earlier this year, I transitioned to an independently owned FA -so I can serve with full transparency, flexibility, and focus.
It hasn't been easy, but it sure is fulfilling. Honestly, I hesitated to share this. But this is me-shaking hands with myself, commiting to do better.
And because I'm biased, I'll let the testimonials from clients and friends (shared with their consent) speak for themselves. More money, more time, more joy. Less worry. If this resonates, let's connect.
Earlier this month, I attempted to show my love and appreciation for my clients and friends pivotal for my career success, here's a snippet of it.
"To love at all is to be vulnerable. Love anything and your heart will be wrung and possibly broken.
If you want to make sure of keeping it intact you must give it to no one, not even an animal.
Wrap it carefully round with hobbies and little luxuries; avoid all entanglements.
Lock it up safe in the casket or coffin of your selfishness. But in that casket, safe, dark, motionless, airless, it will change.
It will not be broken; it will become unbreakable, impenetrable, irredeemable.
To love is to be vulnerable." - C.S Lewis.
I'm glad I'm in a space where I'm allowed to be vulnerable, and you are most certainly able to. I appreciate you all.

Lasting Connections, Live Confidently
To the most pivotal woman in my life, this Mother's Day 2nd celebration, I brought my mom for a sound healing session and a buffet. Even before eating, she was taking photos to share with the family, talking about what my dad would enjoy-just like always, putting everyone first.
It wasn't easy taking it in growing up, because as a son, I would like my mother to put herself first! But over time, I learn to accept how she is, as how she does for this rebellious son.
Still learning everyday, and it sure is a blessing I don't take for granted.
No Met Gala photos here — just a gala picture from yesterday celebrating Sherwin’s success along w other pics. I resonate strongly with @sherwin.goh by how he defines success: not by titles or accolades, but by consistent growth in every area of life — relationships, health, mental, career, and finances. And it's also the reason why he joined me on this journey.
Coming from a background as a scholar and former educator, he entered the industry with no intention of chasing awards. In fact, both of us believe that accolades do not determine the quality of advice or care given to clients.
By focusing on growth, excellence, and serving people well, he managed to achieve outstanding results within his very first year — despite only joining us about half a year ago.
A strong reminder that when the focus is on becoming better, recognition often follows naturally. Glad to be journeying with you!
Congratulations to Wenjie for achieving MDRT within the first quarter of this year!
What resonated with me most was his heart for serving clients genuinely and thoughtfully.
Having previously been in a tiered agency environment as well, he understood the challenges that can come with a limited product range. Every insurer has its own strengths and limitations, and like myself, he found it difficult to fully recommend solutions without having broader market perspectives and comparisons available.
Now, as a father, he places strong importance on family time, which is why we intentionally keep compulsory meetings to a minimum. At the same time, that has never come at the expense of responsibility. He continues to invest deeply in product knowledge and comparisons to better understand what may suit each client’s needs.
Everyone has their own vision of what an enriched life looks like. I’m grateful to be in a space that allows both clients and advisors to pursue that in a way that aligns with their values and priorities.
@spiregroupsg Fulfilling dreams, enriching lives. Drop us a message if it resonates.
Hospital insurance costs are rising at 16.9% this year... but is your plan keeping up?
The real question is: will your coverage still be sustainable years from now?

Here's my experience living onboard one of the most luxurious train in the world (and this was after 10days living in a tent on my solo Safari trip).
Would you go for it?
Shout-out to @singlife for chartering @rovosrail for the top consultants from various advisory firms in Singapore. I strongly believe in working for the cause, and this was a pleasant surprise when I was informed I qualified for it. Grateful to everyone that made this possible so here it is!
What we focus on, expands.
I chose to double down on the unique strengths each individual brings to the table at our quarterly review yesterday. Excited to see what we build from here.
Grateful to be of service with these independent thinkers in @spiregroupsg
Coming out with this video after research- Regarding cases like these, it's not so much about which insurers, as each insurers payout definition differs over time, as medical procedure progressed.
Having access to over 20 insurers, I've also compared various current insurers product summaries, and here's what I found, in layman terms.
Most importantly, reach out to your advisor if you need clarity.
