Rupestre, una de las primeras pumas que acompañó nuestros inicios en conservación, ha concluido su ciclo natural.
Conocida no solo por guías y rastreadores, sino también por quienes se tomaron el tiempo de recorrer Torres del Paine con respeto, detenerse a observar la fauna y tuvieron la fortuna de encontrarse con ella.
Su historia fue documentada en diversos reportajes y documentales.
Al final de su recorrido, Rupestre eligió un lugar abierto, sin ocultarse, reflejando la confianza que siempre mostró.
Su descendencia sigue en la estancia, y su legado permanece en cada rincón.
Leona Amarga le rinde homenaje con gratitud.

En general durante los avistamientos, el puma esta en la suya, sin prestarnos demasiada atención, a veces ni siquiera nos mira. Pero si tenemos suerte, hay instantes donde se cruzan nuestras miradas durante unos intensos y profundos segundos, un real privilegio…
