On the flaps of each pocket on this jacket there are strips of rubber capped with rubber balls. These balls jump, run, fall, slide, rub, lope, soar, and leap with the wearer and are out of the way enough to allow for comfortable daily use.
A jacket to wear everyday to work, to school, to outside, to inside.
The concrete balls rest on small furniture dollies and trap the lobes of the dress, belaboring the process of movement significantly.
The joy of momentum is increased in an equal proportion.
The tubes on the suit are filled with oobleck that was intended to act as a mirror reflecting the force of motion back onto the wearer.

In this thing one side is open, one side is closed, and there are awkward sleeves throughout. You can go out the side, but the sleeves are more satisfactory.
Knit fabrics are like knots, the more I look for the spot that makes the structure possible the more frustrated I get. Each position is dependent on those before and after it to form the structure. I could chase the defining spot around as if it were my own tail.
Play as Remedy
For this project I distilled three elements:

Each of these take turns leading each other and creating an environment in which the wearer can play, either for their own enjoyment or for visual modification. Contained within businesswear, this collection is focused on animating the state in which most people spend the majority of their waking day.
Shorts with built in thumb rests.
Altering the body position is one method to create grounding and engagement in the day. This has the benefit of encouraging conscious perception.
