I forgot
This receptive moment
I could holdspace
For myself
In a quiet way
Listening
A posture of listenfulness
A stream
I could touch
Something inside myself
Is speaking
Hello, Facebook Familia!
I love being self employed and making my own schedule. I also love having no productivity requirements except well… making how ever much money I need. That being said I am always working on my schedule and trying to find the right work life integration for myself. I am curious what you would choose for yourself in terms of schedule. The X’s are client appointments. The rectangles are weekly meetings. I’d love to hear thoughts from others who work in similar ways (direct care? therapists? creative people?) and what you have found works for you in structuring your time. Not only work, but also time for other important things in your life. I think the longer days may be burning me out, then my Fridays and weekends feel very unstructured. Also for some reason sharing my schedule feels vulnerable!

This one right here is going to Michigan twice this summer. When planning my travel for July, to attend AMI conference, I realized something. I always thought the mitten faced the other way and Detroit was on the left side of Michigan. I think because when people showed me “the mitten” to teach me Michigan geography, they either used their left hand and I saw it from the wrong side, or they used their right hand and when I tried to remember it I got confused. So now I really see where Detroit is on the RIGHT side of the state. I thought Michigan’s thumb was on the left, but boy was I wrong! Glad I figured this out finally!
