Jacket is the @kenna.sews pattern 24.9: 1905 jacket with cape sleeves
Absolutely incredible time at the @kasteeldursel Winter Ball. I’ve never felt more like a princess, and though there is definitely room for improvement, I’m so proud of the dress I made!!
Check the highlight to see my process of making all parts of this costume from the skin outwards.
A wonderful winter ball c.1860 @kasteeldursel with many wonderful friends! A place where I can truly feel alive! My natural habitat 🤗
Just check out all of these wonderful dresses these ladies are wearing! They’re all handmade with passion down to the smallest details! 👌

Wonderful time at the Viennese Winter Ball 1850-1870 at @kasteeldursel !! Thanks to @mintblueocean for joining me and letting our impulsive thoughts win 🥰🥰
EXTRA DOUBLE ENGAGED!!!!!! 💍
To cap off the wonderful Jane Austen 250 Celebration weekend last week, @michaelvanostade proposed to me!!
We had been engaged since I proposed to him in May, but he also wanted me to have my moment 🥹
Huge thanks to @regencyseamstress for organizing an incredible weekend event, and to @mintblueocean for taking our engagement pictures❤️❤️
Through the magic of lighting @michaelvanostade managed to turn a gloomy day into the perfect Fall magic hour 🥰
Ft. New regency day dress based on Laughing Moon Mercantile, chemisette from Patterns of Fashion 1, and cap I drafted from The Workwoman’s Guide (1838).
Dress fabric from my grandma (used to be couch covers!), chemisette and cap fabrics are remnants from previous projects, all lace from Vinted 💰
Took the new pelisse/redingote out for a spin. I was too hot so that bodes well for actual cold weather 🥳 pattern is Laughing Moon 137 Pelisse/Spencer. I used a deadstock wool fabric @veritas_edegem_schilde with IKEA curtains for the velvet accents.
Thanks to my lovely fiancé @michaelvanostade for the pictures!!
#FallForCostume day 10: monochrome
My 1900s walking ensemble, using the @black_snail_patterns fan skirt and @wearinghistory Sophie Jacket patterns. I want to rework the jacket to solve some of the pulling at the front, but that velvet was absolute hell to sew with 🥴
Pictures taken Armistice Day at @museumfortliezele , with my wonderful friends @milord_simon , @gaspardegron and @yvesdebroyer
