Wishing everyone more puff pastry in 2026

“Night recording” is a short visual story developed together with my dear brother @leo.nerd , based on his experience recording sounds of nature in the national parks of New York state. As Léo puts it: “A lot of what you do when you record is sit as quietly as possible while the recording is in progress, and it engages a deeper level of listening, where the surrounding soundscape can be as simple or as complex as you decide it to be, where each concentric sound layer around you can be peeled off from the others like an onion.” I am not used to decipher the richness of the soundscapes, for I rely a lot on what I see. I used colours to try and convey the peculiar mixture of attention, excitement and vulnerability that comes with listening to the forest at night.
