Where we’ll stay Last year, we discovered Château de Thauvenay for the first time and completely fell in love with it. We left knowing we had to return and this year, we come back to tell a new story within these walls with new styling, new settings and a fresh creative vision. Only two hours south of Paris and easily reached by train, the château is the perfect balance between classic and contemporary, authentic and refined. The interiors are beautifully minimal and modern, designed with so much respect for the historic architecture and original details. Every corner feels calm, intentional and inspiring. Get lost wandering through its maze of halls and rooms where old walls catch the softest rays of light, or step outside into the gardens and surrounding nature filled with endless green treasures to discover. Enjoy slow mornings with coffee in the garden, take a swim in the pool, unwind in the sauna or stay tucked away a little longer in the incredibly comfortable beds. This is a place that invites you to pause, breathe deeply and leave feeling completely inspired. Join us, we still have some spots left! Link in bio!

Meet the team: our stylist @__immer Sara of immer will be joining L’Envie again this year! Last edition, she created the most beautiful moodboard and settings, each one thoughtful and photogenic. This year, we’re building an entirely new story together. Over multiple days, several settings will come to life, all connected through one vision, with different models, styling and outfits woven into the experience. Every space will feel different, yet still part of the same story. Photographers, you honestly won’t know which setting to photograph first! Florists, finally all the surrounding details will be just right, elevating your florals to a different level! Sara has such a quiet and intuitive way of working with space and composition, and it’s a huge part of what makes L’Envie feel the way it does. We can’t wait to share it with you! Registration is open through the link in our profile!

Meet your hosts: a little more about Annelies. Annelies has been designing flowers for weddings and events for the past ten years. Growing flowers herself in her garden has shaped her work greatly. Her designs are rooted in nature and seasonality and she has a constant curiosity for how flowers move, grow and interact. She is drawn to airy, garden-like designs with soft transitions and subtle colour stories. Alongside her own work, she found a passion for teaching, creating a space where florists can learn, experiment and above all find community. 🥐 Annelies’ perfect Sunday: breakfast in the sun at a coffee bar, a market stroll for plants and brocante finds, and a slow afternoon in my garden. ☕️ Annelies’ coffee order: cappuccino 🎼 Annelies’ guilty pleasure: full volume Taylor Swift in the car, singing like nobody’s watching. ✨ Annelies’ favourite part of a wedding day: when the candles are lit and the couple walks in for the dinner setting.

Q&A: Do I need experience to join l’Envie? For photographers: We do recommend having at least a basic grasp of photography. We will not be teaching photography techniques. L’Envie is open to photographers at different stages, though. From experienced photographers who would like to slow down, refine their work and develop their own style further, to beginners who would like to practice photographing in a more editorial way. You’ll receive personal guidance and feedback if you want to. At l’Envie we encourage you to explore your inner artist, but this is not necessarily linked to experience. Often, it is an open mind and a fresh perspective that lead to the most beautiful discoveries. If you’re unsure whether you’re “far enough” along, we would really encourage you to reach out and talk to us. It’s completely normal to feel uncertain, and there is plenty of support and encouragement throughout the workshop. From both of us, our team and all your colleagues! We’d love to welcome you! Registration is open through the link in bio!

Q&A: do I need experience to join l’Envie? For florists: Not necessarily. A genuine interest in flowers and a basic understanding of floristry is enough. The floral workshops are very hands-on, so you’ll learn a lot through practice, with guidance and feedback throughout if wanted. L’Envie is open to florists at different stages: from beginners to more experienced florists who feel ready to slow down, refine their work and develop their own style further. Meet your hosts: a little more about Elke. With a background in history and over a decade of experience in wedding photography, her work is shaped by a deep appreciation for art, composition and storytelling. Her approach is both editorial and intuitive, always looking to capture people in a way that feels honest, personal and effortless. Alongside her work, she found great fulfilment in mentoring other photographers, bringing people together to learn, reflect and grow. With a thoughtful and observant eye, she brings depth and intention into everything she does. 🥐 Elke’s perfect Sunday: Waking up slowly, strolling to the city for a coffee and fresh bread. Roaming through bookstores, bumping into friends and having spontaneous drinks with them. Ending the day in the kitchen with pasta and a great glass of wine. ☕️ Elke’s coffee order: cappuccino or a coconut chai latte 🍿 Elke’s guilty pleasure: will never say no to a big bag of popcorn and a Hollywood disaster movie ✨ Elke’s favorite part of a wedding day: there’s always a moment the beauty of the day hits me and I get tears in my eyes, but it changes every wedding

Free online workshops We often see that beautiful work doesn’t always translate fully into images, simply because different eyes notice different things. Florists, photographers and planners all look at the same work differently, and there is value in understanding each other’s perspective. A lot of what elevates an image comes down to learning how to see, what to notice, what to prioritise, what to leave out. At L’Envie, this exchange between perspectives is a big part of how we work, taking time to really look and understand what shapes each other’s craft. So we’re hosting two free online workshops. Each from a different perspective, but closely connected. For photographers On the details florists and planners notice in your images, and how small, intentional shifts can elevate your work. For florists On capturing your own work in a way that reflects its texture, depth, and feeling, even with the simplest tools. Both sessions are concise and practical, built around a few key ideas you can apply immediately. Open to everyone. Whether you’ve joined us before, will be with us this summer, or simply feel drawn to this way of seeing and creating. If this resonates, we would love to welcome you. You can register through the links in bio! Elke & Annelies

Hi there! Let us introduce ourselves and how L’Envie came to be. Elke and Annelies met about 9 years ago through the wedding industry, working on weddings and styled shoots over the years. Along the way, we also started collaborating during workshops, which led to many conversations about our work, our students’ needs and our industry. We share a deep respect for each other as artists and educators, and a common desire to help elevate and professionalise our industry, while supporting those at the beginning of their journey. L’Envie grew from that. A space to learn, create and connect, but also to slow down and reflect on your work. To immerse yourself in pure beauty and to create from the heart. We’re so excited to share this with you! Come join us in France this August! Registration is open through the link in our profile.
