Hi all, I'm alive, just not on the socials, much/at all. Text or email if you need me, and I hope you are loving each other, listening to good music, and eating delicious food as the empire falls.

Golden Buddha’s toes inlaid with Mother of Pearl. Bangkok’s famous Golden Buddha is the Phra Sukhothai Traimit, housed at Wat Traimit in Chinatown, a massive 5.5-ton, solid gold statue revealed by accident in 1955 when its stucco covering chipped off during moving, making it a significant religious relic and tourist attraction, valued at hundreds of millions of dollars. Name: Phra Phuttha Maha Suwanna Patimakon, commonly known as the Golden Buddha or Phra Sukhothai Traimit. Location: Wat Traimit (Temple of the Golden Buddha) near Chinatown (Yaowarat Road). Material: 83% pure gold, weighing 5.5 tonnes (12,125 lbs). History: Covered in plaster for centuries to hide it from invaders, its true gold nature was discovered in 1955 when it fell from a crane. Significance: Thailand’s most prized holy relic, considered a masterpiece of Sukhothai art (13th-14th century).

In October 2024, I had the pleasure of photographing @thekitchenista ’s culinary trip through Thailand. Life has been lifing, HARD, and I never got around to posting my own photos. It is high time I rectified this, and started honoring my work.

May 22, 2025. Short on money, I tweeted that after 10 years of hoping and waiting, @inglewoodsir was finally performing in the same city as me, but I couldn’t afford to go. @thecosby and @keyofdavid88 quickly came to my rescue to help me buy a ticket, but before I could click through Ticketmaster’s evil fees screen, SIR, himself, sent me a direct message and asked for my name, so it could be added to the guest list. I was (still am) shocked, and immediately burst into tears of gratitude. What followed was an amazing night of #SoloDateChronicles filled with food, drink, self-love, and incredible images of a soul-soothing concert I won’t soon forget. The sound and lighting at @thefillmorenola didn’t disappoint. Thank you, Universe. And as always, my Village is incredible.

It was hard to choose a single photo to share of someone as kind, as thoughtful, as organized, and as travel-forward as Bre @wrongbutreallyright . In the 13 years I've known this powerhouse, she has introduced me to people and places I will never forget, and she supported me during one of THE hardest years of my life. 2020 was rough on everyone, but one instance I will never forget is when she and I were enjoying her birthday trip in Amsterdam, I got two back-to-back phone calls letting me know that one of my dearest friends passed away, as did her nephdog, Sir Bleucious Left Foot, on the same day. Despite our Netherlands adventure being for and about her, she immediately switched into Olivia Pope mode and started handling business while I melted down. Bre has experienced as much loss and life upheaval as anyone, yet she still remembers to send good luck envelopes for Chinese New Year, always asks if I've eaten, and doesn't hesitate to pull my coattail at the very *hint* that I am about to go off the rails. I don't know how she does it, but she just knows. I ultimately chose this photo because it is a fantastic representation of who Bre is: a true friend, no matter what. Despite not always being on the same continent, she is the person who will show up to celebrate you, even if it means braving a snowstorm in Boston, no questions asked. Bre is fierce, she is smart, she is beautiful in every way, and I am grateful for her and her love, every day. She is my Sister, and I pray for nothing but great things for her today on her birthday, and every day.
