We hit up @lento.ae by @chef.faisal85 a really cool Emirati-run café in Al Wasl KNOWN for the paratha.
If you didn’t know, I’M EATING 100 PARATHAS IN DUBAI and this is number 51!
Super aesthetic space and if you’re a hip-hop fan you’ll clock it instantly. Chef Faisal’s wall of vinyls is certified.
Apparently they do a banging burger but it’s the paratha that we went for. Rolled paper-thin, brushed with ghee, scored, swirled, rolled again, then grilled — flipped, pressed, and finally clapped as if its power slap. Literally shreds it into a flaky, thread-like nest. This is nool paratha. A proper Kerala-style paratha done right.
The masala omelette roll was just as serious — flaky layers, soft swirled eggs, cream cheese, crispy chickpea-battered potatoes, finished with their in-house habanero 🌶️
One of my favourite breakfast menus in Dubai. Easy.

We hit up a really cool Emirati-run café in Jumeirah, famous for breakfast — exactly my kind of morning 🇦🇪
Super aesthetic space, calm but cool, and if you’re a hip-hop fan you’ll clock it instantly. @chef.faisal85 wall of vinyls adds real character and sets the vibe.
The paratha is the star. Rolled paper-thin, rubbed with ghee, scored, swirled, rolled again, then grilled — flipped, pressed, and finally clapped by some mighty hands like applauding a Champions League final goal, shredding it into a flaky, thread-like nest. This is nool paratha. A proper Kerala-style paratha done right.
Add Pakistani-style keema and a sunny side egg and you’ve got yourself a delicious brekky.
