This time last week we screened our final GFS short films for the first time at The Barbican. I don’t really have the words to comprehend what GFS has meant to me since joining in the Summer of 2022 and I don’t even want to sit with how it feels now that it’s really come to an ‘end’.
So I’ll say this… it was a wonderful event and thank you to everyone who showed up for us! Thank you to Tony, Alvy and Malikah for everything you’ve done for us over the years and thank you to all the GFS mentors, partners and supporters. To my mad cohort haha I’m so proud of you all, and I can’t wait to see what incredible things you go on to do, lots of love!!! Grandma 🤪

Production designing and co-producing @area69film has been the most insanely busy and fun few months of my life. 😛 My whole heart is in this project and I’m so excited for everyone else to see it. Every moment of this film has been so full of queer joy, community and appreciation for all things creative. I’m truly so thankful to be able to do what I do. 🩷🩷
I have to give the biggest thanks to @mar4leach for being such a solid director who really pushed me on when I needed it. 🏆
