// Gewebte Massivholzfäden aus Weidenholz
// Kombiniert mit thermoplastischem Kunststoff
// Mit variabler Gewebedichte für flexible Fassadengestaltung
Was VOTO besonders macht:

dedicated to the underestimated radish
Together with Katharina Mlduek @katharina.ursula.mludek and Lena Hellmann @lena.hell.mann , I developed this format for the SDG+ Lab @sdgpluslab . Across generations, we came together to cook, ferment, and explore how food connects us — while reflecting on questions of sustainability.
Radish peels were dried and examined as natural dye and pH indicator in drinks, radishes were fermented in a collaborative process, and the often-overlooked radish greens were turned into a vibrant pesto. What is usually discarded became the focus of shared experimentation and conversation.
Special thanks to Antonia Ludwig @tonisbrain for beautifully capturing the evening in photos 📷

fruit loop is a fruit assistant, which is made of bent and straight steel tubes, with uniform diameter, assembled into a stretched circle. The object carries fruits and vegetables of various sizes. By lifting and lowering the sides, the fruit is set into motion and playfully passed around the table. fruit loop encourages communication and fellowship at the table through interaction.

For the tempeh and mushroom tasting by @fungery and @fermentier_bar I was asked to design table tools. Another eating experiment for my diploma.
How are tools with formal deviations and deformations of classic serving tools experienced and used? How are their different shapes and functions interpreted? How do these tools influence communication at the dining table?

“What makes an eating tool an eating tool?”
In the first eating experiment for my diploma TAG, I used the technique of reduction for shape and material.
The deep-fried potato fork is eating tool and food.
