My stance on A.I. art because I've been asked a lot about it recently. I don't care about it, and I don't use it. I'm interested in the humans, the journey, and the meaning behind the art. The moment those things are absent, it just becomes content or a product. I don't consume art that way. I'm still fixated on works by Gustave Doré and he hasn't posted on socials in like 150 years! Hey Gustave! We need more content asap!
There is so much amazing art and artists that you could never see it all in a lifetime. Why do we need a machine that just blends it all together to feed us that grey boring paste without any meaning?
To quote Bennet Foddy : "Everything's fresh for about six seconds. Until some newer thing beckons, and we hit refresh. And there's years of persevering disappearing into the pile. Out of style. Out of sight."
