For our next panel, we invited @tracyxvalentine to host the conversation for us, she was the perfect person to speak on fashion and beauty, especially in the way she explores what it means to consume more consciously and sustainably as a content creator working in the fashion industry. Born of Ugandan descent and raised in Montreal, her work explores sustainability through a cultural and community-driven lens while opening up conversations about how the fashion and beauty industries impact our health and well-being, beyond the environmental concerns, particularly on our health and well-being. Embracing an imperfect, evolving journey, she uses her platform to encourage more conscious, inclusive practices that support both personal and collective well-being. Atelier Renew is an evolving platform Tracy founded in 2023, dedicated to promoting slow fashion through curated second-hand pop-ups, educative content, and community-driven, sustainability-focused experiences — weaving conversations on sustainability, health, and cultural storytelling in a space rooted in learning rather than perfection.

Des visites d’ateliers, des conversations, de la création. Should we bring this back? 👀
