On every road trip, there’s always that one day where you completely empty the car to clean, reorganize, and let it air out… šŸ‡¬šŸ‡§šŸ˜‚ And in England, things got absolutely chaotic! šŸ“ø @amaertens #porsche997 #gt2 #gt2rs #rooftent #roofrack #tentedetoit #campercar #porschecamping #cartravel #travelbycar #overlandlife #the911page #911carrera #flatsix #porsche911 #porsche #porscheclub

718 Boxster S Camera Car from factory 🤌 You guys know I love weird cars—and Porsches. So when both come together, I go crazy! It’s always a pleasure to come across things like this at the Porsche Leipzig Factory. I’ll post the rest soon, but I had to start with this one. I basically ove the fact that a car has its own story and specific utility. When at first sight you understand what’s the use of this car… I hate to commute and on day to day basis so specific utility is my thing I guess. I am not gonna lie, I might make an offer for this car and another one I saw šŸ‘€ I’ll keep you updated. Big thanks again to @pumamotorsport for having me! #porsche #porschemoment #boxtser #porscheboxster #718boxster

My ALPINA D3S really does it all. After 30,000 km of daily driving, I can confidently say it was the right choice. Classy but not too much, efficient yet sporty — it truly checks all the boxes. It performs surprisingly well in the snow, and its only real weakness is rough roads and potholes. Other than that, I honestly wonder what could be next… Any ideas? šŸ‘€ #bmw #alpina #bmwalpina

Time for Le Mans Classic 2025 ! For this edition, Porsche Paris is giving Armand and me a really cool 2.4S. It’s nice to switch things up from time to time and drive something different. Fun fact: since I’m always into extreme cars, it actually felt strange to be in a ā€œnormalā€ one. I even caught myself thinking it wasn’t the same car anymore haha. So, we did Brussels–Lille to pick up Armand, who had just landed from a rally (this guy seriously never sleeps), then headed to the Porsche Center Paris Ouest. It’s a brand-new location that will serve as the base for all Porsche Centers in France. Pretty cool to see the new design — a great mix of new and classic cars. I mean, I was greeted by three GT2 RSs. There was also a special 992 Le Mans edition and a bunch of other amazing Porsches. We picked up the 2.4S, which had just finished the Tour Auto. We hit the road straight away to get some shots on the Le Mans track before it closes for the race. It was a long day, but here’s the takeaway: race cars are definitely less comfy… but I don’t care. Maybe that’ll change as I get older — who knows? šŸ“ø @amaertens šŸš— @lem_911 #porsche #porsche911st #porscheclassicclub #porschemoment

The @flapanthers won the Stanley Cup for the second consecutive year šŸ† This is the perfect time to take you back to our very first car in the USA and tell you what I think about the first Cayenne. When my parents decided to build a place in Florida, I had only one mission: find the car 🤌 Long story short, we bought this 2004 V8 Porsche Cayenne S for $10k — without ever seeing it in person. It was a weird but exciting adventure: landing in Miami and picking up a car… but not a rental this time! Fun fact: the car had an issue just 30 minutes after I picked it up šŸ˜‚ — but luckily, the seller took care of it. The first thing we did? A sunrise photoshoot with the Cayenne, Miami in the background, and me wearing my Florida Panthers jersey šŸ¾šŸ’ Now you see why the timing for this post is perfect. I really enjoyed that car, especially knowing we had a Macan back in Belgium. It was older, different, but great in its own way. Yes, I had to go to the gas station very, very, very often — but it was such a cool ride for highway cruising, off-roading, and hanging out with friends. At first, we went easy with the Cayenne, but eventually, I made full use of its off-road capabilities. Today, this car has become an off-road trend in the US, and I totally get why. If you’re curious, I recommend watching Cayenne vs G-Wagon by Motorvision on YouTube — it really shows what a regular Cayenne is capable of. When I finally found the Transsyby, it was time to sell the Cayenne. I love the fact that I sold it to someone local through Instagram, so I still know where the car is. In the last pic, you can see the new owner — he uses it as a daily and already made some really cool modifications. To wrap this up: You guys have to try a first-gen 955/957 Cayenne — it’s a seriously cool future classic. #porsche #cayenne #porschecayenne #cayenne955 #cayenneoffroad

First Porsche meet for the wrecked Speedster! It’s been over a year since my dad had the crazy opportunity to buy a wrecked 991 Speedster. Our lucky number # 1077 is now nearly finished and road legal! We couldn’t wait to register it to attend our first meet—so we trailered it there, and here we are! Dinslaken, the massive Porsche gathering with over 2,500 cars. The 2025 edition was extra special as @991.speedster.registry managed to reunite 23 Speedsters at the same time! It was amazing to see all those Speedsters in one place—and to compare them with ours (yep, still a few things to fix). I’ll share more about that in another post. For now, here’s a recap of the Speedster meet and some of the coolest cars I spotted in Dinslaken. Have a great weekend āœŒļø #porsche #porschemoment #porschespeedster #991speedster #porscheclub #porschegt3

Porsche GT2 & Fishing Day — The Unexpected Sunday, thanks to @rideanyways ! With the fishing master on the first pic šŸŽ£šŸ† It had been a while since I spent some time alone with the GT2. As usual, it didn’t disappoint — you can do it all with this car. I started with a full tank and made it home with an empty one… a good day, I guess! I had the rooftop tent on, drove on the highway, through country roads, and even in Paris traffic. Fuel consumption ended up at 12.8L/100km, which is more than decent, especially considering I started with a 17L/100km average — thanks to my dad’s last ride! I emptied the tank for a reason… I was invited by Oliver to an event that combined his two passions: Porsche and fishing. Let’s be honest, I was convinced by the man’s taste — after all, he owns a Porsche Cayenne Transsyberia. I knew I could trust him. So I headed to Paris to learn fishing with some pros and great people, and we had an amazing day. Of course, I had to rock the Bass Pro Shops hat! On the way back, I noticed the car was pulling heavily to the right… Time for a wheel alignment! Enjoy the recap āœŒļø #porsche #porschemoment #porschegt2

15,000 km review of the Alpina D3 S Originally, I was looking for a BMW 320d wagon because I spend a lot of time on the highway for my business. I searched for a long time, missed out on the perfect car, and—like we’ve all done before—I turned off the budget filter. Just to see what was on the market, of course! šŸ˜‚ That’s when I started seeing Alpinas pop up… I absolutely wanted a car with a brown interior because I loved my Cayenne 955’s beige interior. Long story short, a few weeks later, I bought an Alpina! People often ask me if I’m happy with my purchase, and honestly: YES! I bought it knowing I’d keep it for a long time, which justified stretching my budget for a proper daily driver. Fuel consumption is reasonable, the interior is comfortable, the Alpina details make all the difference, and in sport mode, it pulls like crazy with 700 Nm of torque. Since I’ve switched cars quite often, I really notice how well-insulated the Alpina is. You feel like you’re in a cocoon! On the flip side, you have to be extremely careful with potholes—if you hit one, the wheels and tires take a beating. I’ve already learned that the hard way, and that’s what surprises my friends the most when they try it. The handling is precise, you feel everything… but be ready for some harsh bumps. Can’t wait to drive the next 15,000 km with the ultimate daily car! #alpina #alpinasports #bmw #bmwwagon #bmwtuning #dailydriven #drivenhard #nightdrive
