People see the recitals, costumes, and dance classes⌠but so much of what I do happens quietly behind the scenes. â¨
Itâs answering FaceTime calls when a student is having a hard day.
Itâs parents reaching out for advice, reassurance, or simply a listening ear.
Itâs showing up beyond the studio â at community events, career days, and in moments that have nothing to do with dance, but everything to do with support.
Itâs also the late nights creating choreography, helping teachers through creative blocks, and making sure every teacher & student feels confident, seen, and cared for.
Being a dance studio owner is only one part of it⌠this role carries purpose far beyond the dance floor. đ¤

Being in your 40s hits differentâŚ
you start moving with intention and paying attention to your health in a real way. Staying active isnât just about looking goodâitâs about whatâs going on inside.
When things like high cholesterol remind you to get serious⌠you listen.
And for me, thatâs been one of the biggest reasons I keep showing up⌠even on the days I donât feel like it. Iâm still adjusting and making some healthy changes.. but overall Iâm proud of my progress..

Last year, I chose to build our recital around the legacy of Michael Jackson. No trend. No strategy. Just a vision that wouldnât leave me alone. ( As a studio owner, we always plan are recitals 1-3 years out)
I didnât know a movie was coming.
I didnât know the world would be having this conversation again.
But somehow⌠the timing aligned anyway.
