The November I turned 40 🎂🦂
So grateful to have spent the final weekend of my 30’s & first week of my 40’s in 2 of my favorite places.
I’ve been back for a week (it’s taken me that long to recover). I’ve been on a bit of an emotional roller coaster about entering this new decade, but something is certain, I’ve reached a new comfort in my skin & clarity that I’ve never felt before. I spent this last year with a lot of anxiety about where my life is at this exact moment and if it lives up to what I thought it would be, if it’s comparable to those around me, if I look my age, if I’m where I need to be in my career, where I need to be as a woman at this age. Just a ton of different things. It was absolutely incredible to wake up and shake a lot of that off, to be grateful I get to be another year older, to have a whole new decade to reach new goals, to be with the people I love, to create new things, to go new places, to have the opportunity to age and be happy 🤍
