Honestly one of the greatest nights of my life and you don’t get to a place like this without immense support. From family and my amazing wife @rhian_emma who always back me, to crew who work tirelessly to get things done. Thank you to everyone who’s helped me along the way. I’ve learnt so much from this entire experience. Well done to all the other award winners on our special show about a place I call home. Can I retire now?

The Greatest Showmen for Netflix / Box to Box Films ‘25
Let me tell you, I have never spent longer tweaking the spill of a lamp onto a wall more than in that first frame. I spent my entire lunch break and beyond just trying to get an even spill using bits of fabric a had lying around. It might look a mess but everything is meticulously placed. It was the first round of interviews I shot on this project and I wanted everything to be just right. Barry was typically excellent.
Frames from master interviews with Barry and Eddie Hearn as well as a big opening arrivals sequence. I am terrified of flying and my first shoot was spent playing it cool, filming Eddie looking cool in a whilrlybird. It only get better from that point onwards. Fun fact - DJI transmission worked flawlessly from my camera in the helicopter to ground provided there was line of sight, what a fantastic tool!

Had the loveliest time doing Steadicam on ‘A Town in Nova Scotia’. Top notch crew who made the job easy. Thank you! And yes, most of my last day was spent in between two portaloo’s and Bill Nighy who turned to us and said “you have to laugh at the situations you find yourself in sometimes”. Aye Bill.
